TIP

The project requires Unreal Engine 5.4.4. Make sure it is installed before opening vholumeMapping.uproject.

Check for an update before starting a new map

Downloading a fresh mapping project and starting your map there gets you everything the release contains.

You can also update the project you already have: copy Plugins/VHMap and Plugins/VHOLUME out of the new zip over the ones in your project, leaving your own map folders alone. VHMap will offer to rebuild the base release next time you pack.

That brings the tools and the actors across, but not anything a release adds to the project itself, such as new template content. Those have to be copied over by hand.

• Config/ - project overrides.
• Plugins/VHMap/ - editor toolbar and packaging tools.
• Plugins/VHOLUME/ - runtime bridge with placeable actors.
